Workshop Description:
Led by Theo Cuthand and Fallon Simard, this workshop series will teach aspiring Indigenous Two-Spirit LGBTQIA+ youth (18 to 25 years of age) how to make a film/video which will be screened in 2025 at Decolonized Beatz Indigenous World Pride in Washington, DC, USA.
This is a 4 month training program, with each monthly session lasting 2 hours. This teaching approach ensures students will have time for studio and practice work. Must have a stable internet connection for the whole program.
Participants will receive USD 500 for completing the workshop series. Participants will also be funded to attend the film screening in Washington, DC, USA..
How to submit your proposal

You may submit your answers in written, audio, or video format. We will also work out other disability access options if needed.Translators are available, upon request. Let us know if you need assistance accessing the internet during the program.
Proposal Requirements:
Introduction
- Introduction to who you are, your community, and where you come from (200-300 words maximum). All countries are eligible, but please let us know where you are from and what your preferred language is so we can ensure the appropriate translators are available.
Experience in Video Work
- Highlight your background in video/film making (200-500 words maximum)
Video Pitch
- What will your video project be? (200-500 words maximum)
