World Pride has just arrived in Piscataway Land, or the so-called “Washington D.C.,” and to celebrate, we have just released HOPE, an Indigenous gender-diverse pop album.
This powerful 7-track compilation was produced by the two-time Native American Music Awards nominee and HIV positive artist TONY ENOS (Cherokee) for Crushing Colonialism, who worked along with Indigenous artists worldwide to create an album rooted in unity and purpose.
“The strong common theme is resilience, and I think that’s what brought us all together as Indigenous artists,” shares Tony Enos.
HOPE is a genre-blending celebration of resilience, healing, and collective strength. The album is available worldwide on all streaming platforms starting today. Songs from the album will also be performed live at our upcoming event, Decolonized Beatz Indigenous World Pride 2025.

I am trying
I am trying to speak to all the names on this ocean
& in my quest to speak
I am reflecting what it means to carry my own name
I am-
I am a cycle in motion,
A miracle unfolding
I am the origin of the ones who screamed before me
So when I speak of revolution
I am speaking of liberating all the names this ocean has drowned
Everybody knows, the writings on the wall
Won’t be much longer till those walls come down
Everyone’s so tired, spirits all but broken
But through the smoke I can see home from here
In our lifetime, we’ve seen a lot of pain
But I can see love coming’ up on the sun of a brand new day so
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Love is gonna win, as sure as I’m standing
500 years and counting will pay its debt owed us
Courage to the front
The children all are watching
Keep pushin’ on and make good on our promise to them
In our lifetime, we’ve seen a lot of pain
But I can see love coming’ up on the sun of a brand new day so
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
In our lifetime, we’ve seen a lot of pain
But I can see love coming’ up on the sun of a brand new day so
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom
Don’t give up, you can’t give up now
Not when were this close, to freedom

*Lakota language is used in this song
It seems like the storms just keep on comin’
And you can’t face another one and
Your problems are a big ole pile
And you can’t remember the last time you smiled, oh but
Don’t give up, though it’s hard
I know, I know you’re tired, I know that you’re tired but
After the sun comes up and the rain has dried
You’ll see the rainbows stretching across the sky
You’ll see once you’re up, after you fall that, life ain’t so wet after all
Life ain’t so wet after all
The storm clouds have darkened up the sun
But I promise you you’re gonna rise above it
Inside you feel like you’re slowly dying
But on the darkest days the sun is somewhere shining, so
Don’t give up, though it’s hard
I know, I know you’re tired, I know that you’re tired but
After the sun comes up and the rain has dried
You’ll see the rainbows stretching across the sky
You’ll see once you’re up, after you fall that, life ain’t so wet after all
Life ain’t so wet after all
Don’t give up, though it’s hard
I know, I know you’re tired, I know that you’re tired but
I know that you’re tired but
After the sun comes up and the rain has dried
You’ll see the rainbows stretching across the sky
You’ll see once you’re up, after you fall that, life ain’t so wet after all
Life ain’t so wet after all
It was the borderline
the warning sign
can’t take it
it was the blinding light
no wrong or right
it can’t be
it was the borderline
the warning sign
can’t take it
can’t take it
maybe I’m a mess
its my confession
you can’t save me
it’s just my fate
we all are meant to be
what we are meant to be
maybe i’m a mess
i can confess
you can’t save me –
save me
i don’t want to be your angel
how can i be your angel
don’t want to (don’t want to)
Because you can’t see the air, don’t stop you from beating
Alive and everywhere, our reasons for being
Out of the past we go, fighting into the future
The children yet to come, tomorrow’s revolution
There’s got to be more to life than just tears
Look, a new day, is here
And it’s all about hope, all about love
All about not ever giving up
The old ones about, our stories told
The power unity really holds
Yeah it’s all about hope
The tears my spirit cries, are healing sacred waters
The love that my heart gives, is medicine for all life
Healing the hurt and wounds, from pains of yesterday and,
Loving the deepest love, for all humanity and,
There’s got to be more to life than just tears
Look, a new day, is here
And it’s all about hope, all about love
All about not ever giving up
The old ones about, our stories told
The power unity really holds
Yeah it’s all about hope
JANVI’S RAP VERSE
And it’s all about hope, all about love
All about not ever giving up
The old ones about, our stories told
The power unity really holds
Yeah it’s all about hope
And it’s all about hope, all about love
All about not ever giving up
The old ones about, our stories told
The power unity really holds
Yeah it’s all about hope
